How do our grants work? Together As One exists to support families at one of the most critical moments in the adoption journey: the “at-match” stage. This is when an expectant birth mother has chosen an adoptive family, and the adoption process moves forward. It is also the point when the largest portion of adoption expenses becomes due, creating a significant financial hurdle for many families.
How are we unique? We believe providing adoption grants during the at-match stage is the most direct and efficient way to help families complete their adoption. All of our operational cost is funded separately. By meeting this immediate financial need, we can make a direct and measurable impact while ensuring donor contributions are 100% used where they matter most. Every grant awarded is one step closer to solving the financial barrier in adoption and helps bring children home to new loving families.
We need your help! Our greatest challenge is securing enough funding to meet the growing demand. Each year, more and more qualified families reach the at-match stage than we currently have the resources to support. Increasing our grant funding will allow more children to be united with their forever families and ensure that financial barriers do not prevent adoptions from being completed.
We had the immense privilege of getting to partner with Together as One for our son's adoption. The process of adoption and the costs associated can be a barrier for many people thinking about adoption. But I would encourage anyone considering adoption to not let finances be your barrier...apply for grants! It seems daunting at first, but the process is actually so rewarding and the team At Together as One is there to help. I would encourage anyone to apply. Not only did Together as One provide us with tremendous financial support but we gained a community that supported us in many ways through the entire adoption process. Getting to talk with the team and be supported throughout our journey meant so much. Hearing stories from all sides of the adoption triad and getting to lift each other up in prayer is something that meant the world to us. Knowing we have such a community loving us and our kiddos makes such a difference and we are so very grateful!
